UPDATE:Okay recently there have been problems with the upgrade code! I’m sorry I don’t know why it’s not working anymore. I just got it from many other sources and it worked fine when I used it but when I tried to make a second account & I had the same problem too. It might be an Mnet thing, I’m not sure! I’m really sorry guys!!

Okay..So I wanted to post about this sooner then later but I wanted to try it out first to see if it actually works! and OMG I started last night & had to wait for ever for a verification number that never came!! But with a few tips from other people, I finally got to VOTE! Now yes, you may have heard that you have to pay to vote but with this, you don’t! So here you go and best of luck on voting for your favorite artists!
FYI This information is from many sources & I’ll just put them together to make it easier cause i had to use all these things just to help me VOTE! -_- ALSO PLEASE READ THE WHOLE THING BEFORE TRYING BECAUSE I INCLUDED TIPS THAT HELPED ME!
First you have to register for an account on Mnet.
First, come to this page: https://newmember.mnet.com/Registration/MbrJoinGate.asp
Use Internet Explorer! Not FireFox because it won’t work on Firefox!!
Next:
Click & check on the RED boxs!!
Then fill out the form and then you MUST choose: Verification ( beside email box)
Mnet ‘ll send to your email numbers for that box, you just need to fill it out.(They sent it to my SPAM BOX! Check there!)

TIP-I RECOMMEND THAT YOU USE A GMAIL BECAUSE I NEVER GOT IT WHEN I USED MY HOTMAIL!! IT ONLY TAKES A COUPLE OF MINUTES FOR THEM TO SEND IT TO YOUR GMAIL INSTEAD OF WAITING FOR HOURS TO SEE IF THEY HAVE SENT IT TO YOUR HOTMAIL LIKE WHAT HAPPENED TO ME! (Excuse the caps cause this part is VERY important!!)
After that, you have to upgrade your account but that’s free. So just follow these steps. (Keep using IE!!)
Step 1: Click for free ID upgrade.
Step 2: Type JW11227221 in capital and click the red button. Each ID can only upgrade once
Step 3:
Step 4: log out and re-log in with your upgraded ID (I forgot to do this step which is why it took me a bit longer then it should of.)
Step 5: go to http://mama.mnet.com/2009/AwardVote/AwardVote.asp”]http://mama.mnet.com/2009/AwardVote/AwardVote.asp
Step 6: Click the blue button to start voting
7. Vote for whoever you want. FYI there shouldn’t be any pop ups! There should be a blue check mark next to your vote like in the picture!
Step 8: scroll down for blue button. Summit all votes
Step 9: when this commercial appear shows that voting is done!

a popout came out after i enter the code and click the red box….

I think the pop out means it is upgraded. Try logging out and then logging back in to your account. Then try voting and see if it works.
I have follow the instruction but still I failed to vote.
I got stuck at step 3 because after I fill the ID a pop up will come out. I have log out and re-log in but still it didn’t work. Can you help me with that?
Okay, So I tried making another account to see what the problem was. I don’t know what’s up with Mnet but when you put the upgrade code in, there’s supposed to be a pop up like in the picture. But with my second account that didn’t happen. So I tried logging in & out again but it still won’t work. There might be a problem with the upgrade code but I’m not sure. A lot of people are having the same problem too. But I’ll try & work on it & see if I can figure it out.

Sorry! I don’t know why the upgrade code isn’t working. It was working just fine yesterday during they day but then lots of people started having problems with it. I just got it from other sources and it worked fine but then it might be a Mnet problem I’m not sure.

Yeah I’m guessing Mnet might have changed the upgrade code. That’s why you can’t upgrade your account.
I still don’t know if anyone has found an upgrade code that works yet. Sorry.
